Halloween Party 2008

Friday 31st October - Halloween was celebrated in style with the club hosting a Fancy Dress night with chilli and a baked spud. A number of the club members went to a great deal of effort to don a relevant outfit for the occasion. Some were very impressive indeed. Perhaps the 1st prize for the best costume of a bottle of champagne had something to do with it? The winners wer Dracula and his Bride. Some must have spent many hours on there makeup, especially the young lad with the eye hanging out.
Music was provided by the clubs resident DJ's. (A Couple of the young rowers pressganged for the occasion). There was also a few fireworks released by one of the club neighbours to add to the event.

Red Bull is supposed to give you wings but I'm not sure what was added by the bar people to get black wings!
