2008 Annual Presentation Dinner and Dance
25th October 2008
On the evevening of Saturday the 25th October 2008 the Folkestone Rowing clubs Annual dinner and dance was held at the Leas Cliff Hall in the Channel suite. The main organisation for the event was hard work for the club secretary, Linda Alderman. The food was the best that I have had at a dinner and dance, Piping Hot and very tasty. The Captain also kept the speech short and sweet where he thanked all those that have helped him over the season in what was his first year. The evening was ended with the usual dancing including the the row song. Rowing led by Simon.

Senior Rower - Tim Cappell

Junior Rower of the year - Mark Edgar
Up & Comming Lady - Maddie Wybrow

Coxswain of the Year - Nathan Belcher-Wilson

Injured in the line of Duty - Terry Smith (afore mentioned post affair)
Exxon Valdez Award - Sam Milton (The only person to find the leftover oil spill!)
SeaFix Coastal Scull repair kit - Brian "Did I hit something?" Feeney.
Mr Muscle Award - Nathan Belcher-Wilson
