New Boat Christened
The Colin Amos Launched
On Sunday the 3rd December 2006 a new single scull was Christened at the clubhouse. The boat was purchased from a grant from Kent County Council to aid on the clubs junior rowing programme. The scull will assist in teaching new rowers at the club.Club captain Dave Rumbold unveiled the Scull, named after Colin Amos. Colin is the current bar manager at the club and has been for a number of years. Colin has been a member at the club for many years assisting on the clubs commmitte. Colin has held many positions including chairman and regularly can bee seen repairing items in the clubhouse.
